Video footage of the mystery hawk – September 10, 2011 Footage of the visiting juvenile red-tailed hawk I saw outside Washington Square Park on Saturday, September 10th. It had just finished eating a pigeon it had taken from the park. Once finished, it flew back into the park’s trees.
